The dispatch board was the company’s revenue stream and its worst bottleneck: every route change locked the screen for three seconds. We rebuilt the scheduling core around incremental recalculation and moved the board to a virtualised canvas.

Reconciliation ran as a single overnight batch, so a mismatch found at 03:00 was a mismatch nobody could act on until the next working day. We replaced it with a streaming ledger that settles continuously and flags breaks as they happen.

Community nurses spend their days in basements and rural blackspots. We built an offline-first record with conflict resolution the clinician can actually read, so a shift never depends on a signal bar.

Underwriters were pricing renewals from a spreadsheet and a memory of the account. We built a scoring service over two decades of claims and exposed it as an explanation, not a number — every score arrives with the three factors that moved it.

Eleven years of URLs, a catalogue nobody fully understood, and a peak season that could not move. We migrated category by category behind a routing layer, so traffic shifted without a redirect map anyone had to trust.

Nothing could reach the internet and every artefact needed provenance. We built a reproducible pipeline that ships signed bundles across the boundary, with an audit trail the assessor could follow without our help.
